Non-essential Total War: Rome Remastered Mods I personally find it doesn't make the game easier or harder, but it does add some complexity, but it's also 'vanilla enough' to make learning the new stuff nice and easy. The Walking People is a mod that increases the variety of models you'll see roaming the streets of various cities, which should increase immersion. Personally I ALWAYS recommend War of the Walkers for folks new to overhaul mods. It's easy to forget about it with all the politics and warfare going on constantly, but Total War: Rome Remastered also features a city view that lets you step away from the tumultuous life of a faction leader and just admire the cities you've built.
